I am Yılmaz Bektaş. As the current representative and heir of the Botan Tribe, I would like to talk to you about our deep-rooted history. The Botan Tribe has a past known as one of the strongest communities in the region, originating from the depths of history. Our roots extend back to the Ottoman period, playing significant roles in the political, economic, and social events of the region.

The origins of the Botan Tribe date back to the times when the Middle East emerged on the historical stage. Our tribe has maintained dominance in the region for many years, established strong relations with the Ottoman Empire, and had a say in the governance of the area. My father, Mir Muhyeddin Bektaş, as the leader of our tribe, carries these traditions into the present and represents our history with honor.

Historically, the Botan Emirate emerged as a structure recognized for its military and political power. The relationships established with the Ottoman State further strengthened our tribe’s status at that time. Despite the challenges and struggles faced throughout history, the spirit of unity and solidarity within our tribe has always remained strong.

Today, as the Botan Tribe, we continue to preserve this rich heritage passed down from the past. Our history is not just a memory for us; it is also a compass that illuminates our future.
